I am currently living in Brooklyn, New York pursuing book illustration and textile design. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 with a BFA in Illustration and licensed in Art Education.

My illustration work has been recognized by 3x3 magazine, Applied Arts Magazine and the LDS International Competition.

Anthropologie Display Team: Visual Sales Associate                                              

Oct 2015-

Contributed to an award winning team as a visual support and designer. Assisted in creating visuals and designs that were used in the Rockefellar Center Anthropologie’s holiday windows.

SaltArtists Online Publication: Art Editor

May-Nov 2015   

Generate original content for SaltArtists.com. Research and promote local artists and businesses in Salt Lake City and Brooklyn, New York through online articles and interviews. Manage social media accounts, art direct photoshoots and articles produced.

Design Dazzle: In House Illustrator                                                                               

2013-2014

Created images and products that fit the vision of the Art Director and blog owner of Design Dazzle. The projects were created for various events and seasonal occasions that were featured on Utah originated blog DesignDazzle.com.

Crayonbox Quip: An exhibition of 4 large paintings that tell stories from my perspective as a child.

2013

Deep Peeps: An online exhibition of a series of designs that I created based on historical and influential figures.

Normandie's Boutique: An exhibition of window displays using products that I've created with my illustrations on them including greeting cards, calendars, posters, t-shirts, etc.

2014

Our Sister's Sorrow (Coming in January): A series of 8 paintings created to incorporate in a local fundraising event for the local women's shelter, The Center For Women and Children in Crisis. The images are based on the Bible story of Job replaced with a female characters.

Fairy God Feminist: An online comic which explores relevant women's issues and personal narratives. This comic can be found at FairyGodFeminist.tumblr.com
